The mission of the Newtown Business Association (NBA) is to promote Newtown as a great place to live, work, shop and do business, thereby enhancing the economic vitality of the community for member businesses through networking, education, community involvement and coop advertising opportunities. After a year and a half of uncertainty, the NBA is once again hosting a virtual event this fall to encourage residents to support area business owners, restauranteurs, entrepreneurs, and neighbors. The 2021 Business Expo will be different than in years past, and surely different than the Expos in the years to come!
While the world continues to tip toe around the return of large gatherings, the NBA made the decision to keep Exhibitor Booths virtual for one more year. In addition to opportunities for attendees to win daily giveaways and gift cards to local restaurants, the NBA will also host a Kickoff Event for its members on Wednesday, September 22nd which will highlight sponsoring businesses and celebrate the beginning of 'Expo Week'! The virtual booths will go “live” from September 27th to October 3rd on www.newtownexpo.com alongside three in-person “Lunch and Learn” events for members and non-members alike.
This 7-day virtual event will feature NBA member businesses and highlighting their 'best offers of the year' on products and services, available exclusively to Expo visitors, and an opportunity for anyone from far and wide to take advantage of amazing offers right from their phone, tablet, or laptop – anywhere! Dozens of businesses will be participating, ranging from retail and dining to professional services. Visitors to the virtual Expo will be able to roam the virtual “booths” at their own pace to view products and services of the Exhibitors, with links to their websites, social media, and great deals, all while supporting local businesses FREE and participating in daily raffles and contests.
For local businesses, the NBA will also offer 3 “Lunch and Learn” events at Bucks County Community College on September 27th, 29th & October 1st featuring panels of experts in digital & social media marketing, print & direct mail marketing, as well as Search Engine Optimization. Further details will be announced on the NBA website www.newtownba. org. Any business that is in Newtown or conducts business in Newtown on a regular basis is eligible to become a member of the NBA!
We hope you’ll support these local businesses by attending NBA’s free virtual community event! Not only will you be helping local businesses, you’ll also be eligible for special offers, savings, coupons, and have a chance to win gift cards, meals, and other fun prizes! You can register online for reminders at www.newtownexpo.com.
