Yardley native Nick Liberato may be best known for his series “Restaurants on the Edge” streaming on Netflix . Now that he’s returned to Bucks County, he shared one of his favorite family-friendly recipes... Banana Bread! Whether you include this in Easter brunch or whip it up with your kiddos as a dessert, trust us, it’s a winner!

Preheat Oven to 325 degrees
Mash 4 bananas
1 cup sugar
4 tbsp butter
1 egg
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 to 3/4 bag of chocolate chips
Brown sugar (for topping)
Combine dry ingredients except chocolate chips and set aside. Combine wet ingredients, then mix in the dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into loaf pans. Sprinkle brown sugar on top, and bake for 55 minutes. Remove from the oven, cool, slice, and enjoy
